So i can not get the fucking nissan data scan to connect with my computer. I have the black box that is sold in the sr20forum as my interface to the consult port. The box reads values so i know the port is working. I have tryed 2 different cables so i dont think that is the problem. I have tried the rs232 adapter to usb cord from best buy and one i bought off line. The com port on my laptop is set to com 1, when i go to connect to com 1 on the program i can hit connect and nothing happens. If i change ports to anything over that 1 or 3 it says invalid port.
If i use port 1 or port 3 and click connect and nothing happens. I am pissed because datascan 1.52 will not connect, and neither will calumsult. I have a 95 nissan 200sx se-r, turbo hightport with jwt ecu. So i can not get the fu.king nissan data scan to connect with my computer. I ordered the one that the DataScan site recomends and it works fine on my car. I forget, does DataScan work on an OBD II car? The brand is dynex.
Where do you find the drivers to dl them? Update: Found a couple of different drivers. Got one to work, but still wont connect.
